You’ll have to wait until April for the book but there’s a sneak peek of what Elizabeth Pisani has to say about her upcoming book: The Wisdom of Whores.
Unspun’s known Ibu Ellie since Asia Times days and then caught up with her again in Jakarta. Had many good times – some sober, others not – until Ibu Ellie, whose Bahasa Indonesia was always enviously better than Unspun’s hightailed it out of Indonesia to get a PhD, go kayaking in Ireland and write a book.
Unspun hasn’t read her book but is sure that whatever Ibu Ellie is up to its controversial, probably eccentric, brilliant and shouldn’t be missed. For more information on the book go here
