Mas Priyadi has audited the Pesta Blogger 2007 accounts and posted his findings at Pestablogger.com.Pesta Blogger 2007 was Indonesia’s first large scale national gathering of bloggers. It was attended by about 400 bloggers and about 100 guests.

The bloggers came from all over Indonesia with strong representations from Bandung, Maluku and even Poso. The Minister of Information Muhammad Nuh opened the event on October 27 and declared it National Bloggers Day.

Pesta Blogger 2007 was a not-for-profit event and at the moment there is a little money left, which the Steering Committee will decide whether to donate to a charity or to retain it as operating expenses for next year’s committee.

The Steering Committee of Pesta Blogger 2007 is scheduled to meet this Friday to also review the event, consider feedback and hopefully pave the way for the formation of next year’s Pesta Blogger steering committee.
