BUTTERWORTH: Some 100 We Love Pak Lah fan club members greeted Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi at the Sunway Hotel here as he checked in after attending Barisan Nasional programmes on the island.
Clad in “We Love Pak Lah” T-shirts, they gathered to greet and give the Prime Minister moral support.

Club chairman Jaafar Majid, 53, said members would gather in Penang to lend their support to Barisan candidates on nomination day today.
He said the club members included famous singers, actresses and professionals.
“The members come from all over the country,” he added.
Jaafar said the club members had undergone a short course on politics, the elections and image building.
“It is also the aim of the club to attract them to join Umno and register themselves as voters,” he added.
