Is it particularly difficult for overseas educated Indonesian women to find their man? Or is the author below, Therry from Indonesia Matters, protesting too much, especially with a blacklist that obliterates probably 90% of the men she’s likely to meet in Jakarta?
And is it any easier for sensitive males to find their counterparts? You’d think so from Therry’s lament. But is it so?

Unspun, Therry is not single
. So she has met a man that fits her criterion. But as I have mentioned in IM and her blog, what she’s looking for in man (or men) are most of Indonesian girls do, whether they’re overseas graduates or not.
And just like in any other part of the world, we’d find chauvinist, selfish, alpha-male type who want to be served and they’re the king, everywhere. Not only in Indonesia.

Thank you Anita! *hugs*
We’re all in the quest of looking that someone who is extra-ordinary! Why settle for second best when there’s the best one out there? I do believe it is true

I’ve posted numerous random comments on the post. I must admit that I got a little bit carried away with the subject, knowing that I’m an It’s-Complicated female single trying hard to earn grad education abroad. Can’t refer myself as being Westernized though, I cannot even define the word without having (anti-West) people intimidating me in return.
But here’s my latest comment:
..that complain too much.
That includes me amongst many.
