Freischlad approached the public relations consultancy service Maverick and found helpful co-organizers in Maverick’s associates Dian Guritno and Sharon Issabella.

“Honestly, I had never heard about it before,” Dian admitted. “But as soon as Freischlad mentioned the name ‘Pecha Kucha,’ I was already excited about the project.”
For Jakarta’s first Pecha Kucha night next Tuesday, they have invited 12 speakers from different fields: architects, bloggers, photographers and designers.
In six minutes and 40 seconds each, they will present their work to a targeted audience of 100 to 150.
According to the event’s organizers, a relaxed atmosphere is much more conducive to networking.
