The economy may be in a tailspin, economic empires may be in flames but James Riady is fiddling his way up the exclusive club of newspaper baronship.
On Wednesday he launched the Jakarta Globe, Indonesia’s second English language daily, in all its 48-page colored glory.
Yesterday he re-launched Merdeka, a storied newspaper that was first launchd in 1945 (see details here). Photo on Warta Kota of the launching below:
