This is most disturbing. When Unspun was a reporter covering ASEAN he was easily one of the best spokespersons around. He was responsive, authoritative, engaging and likeable but always spoke for his country’s interests.
When Unspun conducted media training classes and participants asked who are examples of a n effective Indonesian spokesperson, Unspun would always name him.
ASEAN seemed to Unspun to always be a bit amiss after he retired.
Condolences to Nadira and the rest of the family.
