Interesting to note that the Jakarta Globe, while still bereft of a decent web site, has begun Twittering.
Curious to know more about the Globe’s effort, Unspun texted to an over-50 editor to ask who’s behind the Tweets.
“What’s Twitter?” asked the editor. Oh oh asking the wrong generation.
Explanation followed, light shone through and Unspun was given Trish’s number to ask. Unspun texted her but there was no reply. Christmas must be coming early.
Good to see a paper embracing microblogging as a way to attract a following and, hopefully, readers and revenue.
