Oh this Manohara saga is getting funnier by the day. We are now treated to the story of how an Indonesian demonstrator protesting over the Ambalat issue is pissed off because they were upstaged by Manohara.
Manohara, the Frankenmodel of the Keltantan royalty, was apparently at the Malaysian Embassy too protesting over the Ambalat issue. All that alleged torture must have awaken in her a heightened sense of nationalism.
So when this 17-year-old bombshell appeared amid the demonstratory and dutifully shouted “Ganyang Malaysia!” the anti-Malaysia phrase coined by Sukarno in the bad old Confrontation days, the media naturally paid more attention to her than the demonstrators. She did not endear herself more to the demonstrators when after a perfunctory yell, she represted to the air condition comfort of her car where he mummy was waiting to revive her.
This pissed off the demonstrators who felt that they had been deprived of much warranted attention. The world is so unfair.

Aksi unjuk rasa yang digelar di Jalan HR Rasuna Said ini menghadirkan Manohara Odelia Pinot, model Indonesia yang pernah dipersunting oleh Pangeran Kelantan, Tengku Mohammad Fakhry. Tak heran, perhatian para pekerja media ini, termasuk pewarta foto dan kameramen televisi terus terkonsentrasi pada sosok perempuan yang tenar setelah diberitakan menjadi korban KDRT di dalam kerajaan Kelantan.
“Ini bukan masalah Manohara. Ini masalah Ambalat. Wartawan jangan hanya mengambil gambar Manohara saja,” ujar salah satu orator yang berdiri di depan pintu Kedubes Malaysia Jalan HR Rasuna Said, Jakarta, Rabu (10/6/2009).
