Where’s the sex video of the Malaysian Minister?

It’s amazing what you miss when you go on holidays. Unspun missed news about Benazir Bhutto’s assassination until a dear friend from Reuters told him about it when discussing where to dine in Manila.

The other thing of interest Unspun missed is the action surrounding the sex video of Malaysian Health Minister Chua Soi Lek. Trying to catch u with the news and adhering to the principle that one must not judge until one’s done empirical research into the matter at hand Unspun has been busy trying to dredge up an uploaded version of the DVD recordings featuring the minister and his “personal friend”. (as opposed to an impersonal friend?)

Alas they are no where to be found. There were some postings in YouTube that promised full disclosure but when Unspun clicked on them, all Unspun could see was that the page did not exist – anymore. Someone’s been busy making sure that the video uploads were taken down. Who can it be? The Malaysian Government? The Chinese Towkays?

Anyone out there with the video? If so please share – purely for empirical research reasons, of course.

There are other aspects of the case that seem peculiar that perhaps some Malaysians who have been following the case closer can enlighten the rest of us who were too alcohol-laden to make sense of things during Christmas and New Year’s.

1. Why did Chua say it didn’t matter who took the video? If it was by political enemies he should be trying to direct people to them. Unless it was the woman, but why would she be doing that?

2. What possessed the MCA leadership to think that they could get away with Chua’s initial press conference where he did not resign? Chua accepted responsibility for the sex scandal yet did not take responsibility for his actions. Instead he palmed it to Badawi. What sort of PR advice do these towkays get anyway?

3. Is it true that the video lasted an hour? if so an hour of what? Foreplay and then actual sex or just unadulterated sex all the way? If the latter then perhaps Chua should be reinstated as the Healthy Minister. Shagging non-stop for 60 minutes at aged 61 calls for some sort of recognition.
