A JFCC member sms'd me to say I should retract my posting or post a mea culpa as he checked and the press release on the Californian swiming the Bali Strait was bona fide.
I replied that my post was not to suggest it wasn't bona fide but that the JFCC had been persuaded to help a publicity effort about an event a week old, and about somone swimming for a Walk the World initiative. Come to think of it with 220 million people in Indonesia why is it that the World Food Program had to choose a Californian to swim the walk?
It sets the mind spinning.
