If, like me, you struggle with trying to make sense of technology and often wrestle with gadgets to make them work then relax, for help is at hand.
Jeremy Wagstaff, a Hugh Grant lookalike who writes the Wall Street Journal’s Loose Wire column and blogs, is launching a book to help laymen Luddites and Gaptek-ists cope with the technology that sometimes seems to be taking over our lives.
The book: Loose Wire: a personal guide to making technology work for you is being published by Equinox and will be launched on October 1 at the Tutmak Cafe Ubud, during the Ubud Writers and Readers Festival.
I haven’t read the book but I’ve read Jeremy’s columns and blog, and I can say that they’ve always been entertaining and informative. Jeremy can also be very funny in his writing but he never fails to instruct and illuminate.
So do yourself a favor, go to Ubud on October 1, get literate and get his book.Or buy it when it goes on sale elsewhere. Or remain Gaptek and see your life taken over by technology.
