See The Point?

Neither have we. The Point, in this case, is supposed to be Indonesia’s latest English-language daily that was supposed to have hit the streets first in the third week of August and then by the second week of September.

Unspun sms’d the managing editor Riris Irawati as to when we all could get The Point. she was very Taoist about it, along the lines of “He who does nothing leaves nothing undone.” He reply was: “Don’t know. Seems we always miss our plan and deadline. Better to have none of them.”

That’s one way to get rid of the problems of deadlines. Journalists, particularly those working for the wires, please take note 😉

maybe someone finally woke up and realised that “the point” sucks as a name for a newspaper.

maybe someone woke up to the fact that newspapers are soooo yesterday …

  5. Mr X Groovy: You must mean the President Post. I’ve posted a couple of articles. Look for the post “Clueless in Jababeka” and follow links from there for more info on the President Post.
