Politician with a firm grasp of the obvious

This is a funny story about how some thieves broke into a school in Malaysia, disconnected the servers and computers and made off with the haul – after leaving a RM50 (about Rp100,000) tip for the security guard.Malaysians have a habit of blaming all robberies on Indonesians and will no doubt be thinking that Indonesians are behind this because of the thieves’ penchant for tipping – Malaysians are usually too pelit to do so.

But the information that kills Unspun is the statement by Dr Wee. In a feat of Sherlock Holms-ian proportions he deducted that the thieves were IT-savvy.

How did he know that? By the way they disconnected the server cables…and how they chose only new notebooks and computers. Hmmm…does one really need to be IT savvy to do all those things? Duh.

clipped from thestar.com.my

MCA Youth secretary-general Dr Wee Ka Siong, who visited the school later Sunday, said the robbers were very IT-savvy based on the way they disconnected the server cables and the computers.
“They only chose brand new notebooks and computers,” he said.
“We condemn this despicable act and urge the public not to buy these items if they happen to come across them,” he said.

  1. There is this continuous problem of how every Malaysian seems to be pshyco’ed into thinking that it is always the Indonesians who commit crimes. They are pathetically quick in pointing fingers in that direction. I find this absurd.

    True case:…..
My friend (Caucasian) was robbed at gun-point and relieved of the jewlery and 7Series BMW at Bangsar. When the couple made the Police report, the (idiotic) Malaysian Police insisted that the robbers were Indonesian instead of “malay”. This argument with the couple went on and on until the wife told them that she was indeed an Indonesian, and that the robbers were “malay”.

I looked at the entire situationa and said to them, “There is a difference?” I mean, who exactly are the “malays” anyway? Aren’t most of them Indonesians to begin with? (forget the race-joining bunch like Mahathir, Badawi and so on so forth for the time-being) Aren’t 75% of all peninsular “malays” Javanese? And the balance 20% from the rest of the Indonesian Archipelago? Doesn’t that make all 95% of “malays” Indonesian?

In a recent press statement made in the Star about the fact that there are 80% crimes committed by locals while 20% are committed by foreign workers. Therefore, foreign workers are more apt to commit crimes. However, if you look at the statistics again, you will notice that there the local population consists of 80% of the population, while 20% constitute of migrant workers. Bozo’s, wake up! There are just as many Malaysians who commit crime as there are foreignners. Not only that, we have heard all too often about the many many many cases of personal friends who have been refused a police report if they insisted that the “malays” were the ones who committed the crime. It is only AFTER they reported it as being committed by an Indonesian that the Police report is processed. IF that be true, then the stats will swing, and therefore, there are more Malaysians who commit crimes than migrant workers !!!

Even a kid can figure this one out….
    QUIT BLAMING THE INDONESIANS!!!

    Truly Asia Truly Crime-Prone… 😦

Anyone foreign Government out there wants to take over the Malaysian Government? Indonesia, would you like to take control of your people? The Chinese are insignificant in Malaysia anyway… They are financially strong, and can help boost the economy and so on so forth, but politically, they are lame ducks.

Thailand, do you want to repossess Malaysia? You used to “own” it during your Pattani days anyway…All the way from Ayuthia till Temasik (Singapore). Please take back what is yours…… The current guys creating havoc in Southern Pattani have relatives in Kelantan anyway… They are the same people. In fact, in 1943 the 4 northern states were under Thai rule. They flew your flag. Let them fly it again… For good times’ sake…. PLEASE…..
