What is it with the media here that can’t see the forest for the trees? The Jakarta Post today carried a captioned story of how Adam Air had painted its plane that was under investigation white. The plane had sustained structural damage after being forced to do a hard landing in Surabaya.
Great to have the pictures but what about the story? One would have thought that the story here is not the fact that they had painted over the paint but how they could get away with doing so without any repercussions from the government. Funny news values at work here.
