Unspun

No doubt the faithful will be thronging temples tomorrow to commemorate the birth, enlightment and passing into nibbana of the Buddha. To think that a man so many years ago had the courage to strike out into intellectual and spiritual territory that others feared to thread. he was the ultimate unspinner of life’s complexities.

Today’s perhaps a good time to listen to some of the wisdom this man achieved in his lifetime. One of the best sites Unspun knows of about Buddhism and meditation is the site of the Buddhist Society of Western Australia. It’s a pretty IT savvy site, with videocasts and podcasts of sermons and talks that you can download onto your iPod. Listen to the sermons of Ajahn Bhram’s talks. He’s got a great sense of clarity.
