Graceful exit at The Peak

After almost four years as General Manager of high society rag The Peak Indonesia, Grace Wong is calling it quits and going back to Singapore to enjoy time with her elderly parent. Good on her. Those of us with aging parents know how gratifying it can be to be able to make the old folks happy in their twilight years.

Grace was involved with the set up of the The Peak Indonesia with a team of 2 new staff. It has now grown into a full team of 10 comprising editorial, sales and promotion departments.

What next for the woman who, when she met Unspun for the first time at Ritz-Carlton some time back remarked: “oh, so you are the one who scolds everybody!”? Well, she’s not telling. She says in her farewell note sent to friends and contacts that she may be embarking onto a new career path — which may or may not be in publishing.

  1. Hi,

Visiting your blog for the first time. Are you from St.George’s, Tpg , ex-Scouter and school U-18 basketball player ? If Yes, think we use to play at the same court daily when you were in Form 5 and I was in Form 1.

    Cheers
