Polygamy haven


Indonesia is so liberal and the Press is so free, all sorts of weirdos exist and thrive. Unspun thinks this is fantastic in the spirit of letting a hundred flowers bloom etc…

One of Unspun‘s sources, let’s call her S, has just berated Unspun for not having a wide and eclectic enough range of reading materials. She points to the tabloid Poligami, for instance, and a “Siap diMadu” page as one of the publication’s features. For those of you not fortunate to be equipped with the Indonesian language Siap diMadu can loosely (no pun intended) be translated into “ready to be bonked.”

You think Unspun and S is kidding you? We have proof and we all know the camera does not lie. Here it is:

and here is the Ready to be Bonked Page. The subhead says, “Need polygamy volunteers who are prepared to be leaders…”

    Dear pak Ong 🙂
    I think of myself as quite ‘moderate’ in the state of ‘I don’t really mind if the family doesn’t mind’, as it is a ‘personal’ decision.
    It’s not forbidden, although the prophet did not TELL (menyuruh) us to do so.
    But honestly, to see such tabloid… *speechless*

    Oh well, free speech.

    Indcoup: She swears she doesn’t normally read such kinds of tabloids. That said after Unspun offered her the post of “smut contributor.” Honestly, the firends that one keeps…:)

    Looking briefly at the “Siap di Madu” list… it’s looking for volunteers… hmm.. quite intriguing and it raises my curiosity… i think i might get myself a copy … *wink*

    Man, I’m not even going to comment on anything remotely related to haram-halal or whatever. But seriously, it does occur in one’s mind that when the going gets tough, the crazy goes hysterically insane. Liberalism comes at a price, I suppose. Well, at least it’s better than no free speech at all. Or free anything.

    this is insane!!! though i live in indonesia, i never found this disgusting tabloid. >_< (thanks for your info anyway).

    well those women who join the “siap dimadu” feature are 100% stupid.
    Honestly, I really can’t find any goodness about polygamy.
