Bill Clinton did not resign after the Lewinsky affair. Sure he got the impeachment motion from the house of representatives, but he got away with it. He served two full presidential term.

hes a medical doctor, a political leader, a man with a family…he needs to show qualities as example for the community…
i know hes a good guy, heard from some of my Johorian course mates that he gives out free treatment for old folks at his GP clinic in Muar…
but this sex scandal, maybe perceived as only a simple mistake, did kill his whole political career and i doubted his medical career will go well after this….
this sex scandal while him being our health minister really gives hard backlash to the health community….i mean this really make our job harder lah… 😉

He’s already already being responsible enough to resign his post. He knew he’s supposed to set good example for the community, and he paid it by resigning. How his family would react to it (and his friends) is completely his personal responsibility to handle it.
I have strong believe in redemption….. No matter how big the mistake is.
Hey, I would surely would love to watch the video myself. Unspun is right, for someone aged as he is (in Indonesia, for that age is entitled for a lifetime ID card because it is considered “over the hill” age), he must be really fit to endure 1 hour of sex. 😀

but man, im worried more of the backlash toward the health community. here a personal experience, right after the sex scandal, most of my pts refused being examined by a med student like me lah ie breast self examination or even worst per vaginal man, some even refused a routine chest or abdominal examination lah… this really makes my life harder coz each time i really need bout half an hour to acquire consent, another half an hour to find 2 female students as chaperon lah…. 😀
