Of Horny Devils

You know those adorable “devil horns” that kids love to wear for Halloween or at concerts? They are fun, innocuous and a novelty for kids right? Harmless stuff?

Well, not according to a group of people in Bolehland (Diversion: SBY no wants to promote the Indonesia Bisa campaign in emulation of Malaysia’s Malaysia Boleh campaign. Unspun would advise him not to got there as the Malaysia Boleh slogan is now a joke and Bolehland has become the insider joke for Malaysians referring to their chronic homeland) these hairclips are haram and therefore have to be banned. This is the same group of people with nothing else better to do then to fuse religion to flex their power over others.

So now the things they see fit to be banned in Malaysia include:

1. Inul
2. Avril Lavigne
3. The sight of women’s armpits on TV
4. Devil’s Horns
5….. (oh fill it in yourself, Unspun cannot possibly keep tabs on what these idiots see fit to ban. You could say he’d have a Devil of a time doing it).

Children made into ‘devils’ at Merdeka do

SOME children as young as two were made into ‘junior devils’ by their parents and guardians at the Merdeka celebrations in Shah Alam on Sunday, claimed a Malay daily.

Harian Metro said the parents bought the children ‘hair clips’ in the shape of the Devil’s horns, which cost some RM8 apiece.

The daily said many parents seemed happy watching their children wearing these ‘hair clips’, which came with light ornaments.

Selangor Islamic Religious Department (Jais) director Datuk Khusrin Munawai urged Muslims to stop buying the hair clips or better yet, to destroy them.

“These hair clips are haram (illegal),” he said.
