This is exactly what all of us have been telling Tengku and the MTB. But of course, having Wong Chun Wai to say this makes the message more compelling, I suppose.
I hope the MTB and its head honcho understand simple English!

A few years ago I had the pleasure of visiting Malaysia as a guest of your tourism authority and it struck me at the time that they did not have a clue about how to “sell” their country.
There were numerous meetings with government officials and visits to factories and so.
And we were never left alone!
All that the party of journalists I was with wanted to do was to get out into the street and talk to ordinary folks, see the sight, take pictures and get a sense of the place. Sadly, that was not to be.
Malaysia has a great story to tell. Please let journalists tell it.LikeLike
