Metro TV to air Indon views about Tengku Adnan’s blooper

Unspun‘s been told that one of Jakarta’s top TV stations, Mero TV, has been interviewing a host of Indonesians including Budi Putra, Wimar Witoelar, Nukman Lutfie and Nila Tanzil on their views about Malaysian Tourism Minister Tengku Adnan’s outburst against bloggers. For more details look up Nukman’s posting here.

The program is called e-lifestyle and airs 11.30am Jakarta time this Sunday. PR agencies who are preparing to pitch of the Malaysian Tourism Board account are advised to advice the prospective client on how best to go into crisis management mode. Then again all the people interviewed are bloggers anyway so by Tengku Adnan’s recckoning they are all liars, three of them are probably cross-dressers and all of them are most probably unemployed, so no need to press the panic button yet.

Unspun‘s thinks that the first PR agency to propose the most condesceding and insulting statement guaranteed to piss off all Indonesians, women, bloggers and probably men too (and their dogs) for Tengku Adnan to read as a response to the TV program will be favored to win the MTB account. Hurry! Hurry!

  1. You may want to fix the links for Wimar Witoelar, and Nukman Lutfie. BTW, I thought e-lifestyle is a live show, so will the bloggers be on TV Sunday or is it pre-recorded?

  2. As a result of this program, Tengku will probably get for Malaysia more adverse publicity than all the total positive PR that the country had hoped to generate from all its tourism-related promotion activities to date.

What a laugh…in a tragic comedy sense, of course!
